"New House construction. I chose to have a house built because I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted on the open market. I had an idea in my head that wouldn’t go away. David Caamano put me in touch with a local architect who drew up the plans I wanted and gave them back to David. He quoted a pretty good price and a 20 week schedule. I got a couple of other quotes just to be sure but none of the other builders gave me the confidence that David did.
The work went mostly to plan, there was some slippage, there always is, and the budget got stretched a bit when I made a couple of changes. I can’t fault them though as they kept me regularly informed of any issues like that. The guys didn’t mind me turning up on site and having a look around either.
The quality of work can’t be faulted. There was the tiniest snagging list once the house was finished and one of the boys came round and sorted them all out the next week. I was nervous about trusting my home to strangers, but I got exactly what I wanted and I can’t thank them all enough. "

"I bought an amazing plot of land, but the home on it was a disgrace. D. Caamano Construction tore it all down and built me the nicest, coziest, coolest place on earth and for that they have my undying gratitude.

The guys were really helpful and friendly, and even pretended not to mind when I wanted to lay a few bricks myself. They worked long and hard and seemed to take time over every detail. I wanted solar panels, vinyl glass, under floor heating, water recirculation, the works, and David and the boys took it in their stride. They even suggested some methods where I could save money but still get the same benefits. I would say the relationship was close during the work and we all got on well.
